About A New Thread
After a visit to Cambodia, this group would never be able to go back to the tapestry that had been their previous knowledge of the world. They had been forever impacted by the children at the orphanage they visited in Cambodia, and called to action by the courageous and selfless acts of Phon and his wife, Solpheaktra, who run the facility.
Then the questions started filling our heads, as they do. “What if we decided to. . . ?” Which led to, “What if we . . . ?” and “How about if . . .” In the end, what emerged was an organization that saw itself not as another “non-profit,” but rather as a “For Purpose” organization that knew it could make an immediate and necessary change in the world. What emerged was a way to weave change for children.

1836 Royalty Partners dedicates its time and resources to bringing the necessary supplies and funds to the New Hope orphanage in the Kampong Thom province of Cambodia for its continued success. This orphanage takes in children, provides basic hygiene, sanitation, shelter, and food, while also helping with education. To continue this good work, A New Thread will raise funds and secure items for their use that can be of assistance in this mission.
